Hi peeps

I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Taking the excellent advice on this website I pretty much started by taking it one day at a time. This does indeed help. 

I thought to share the good and the bad and would love to hear anyone else's should they wish to share.

Today I had both a good and a bad moment. I received 2 letters in the post.

The first was from the hosp confirming my op date (my bad moment) cos my stomach dropped and I had that now familiar feeling of anxiousness take hold for a moment but shook it off cos I know it is needed. 

The good - my 2nd letter - as if... a tax rebate - boom  . Not half put a much needed smile on my face . Reckon a my treat family meal is in order.

Eeee it's the little things ain't it.

    happy sunday. 

    Bad :- none yay!

    good :- great catch  up with friend ( after cancelling cos of cold). She had cleaned out her cupboards nd gave me a vintage 18 piece teaset with matching milk, sugar, nd cake plate.... they are gorgeous. Think I have enough now so no more lol. 

    Dont go t b and m for a few days peeps ... I think I bought all their stock yesterday so they’ll need t replenish ( what the heck is it with that place... I went with daughter nd didn’t want owt.... and yet ).

    daughter passed her testing and inspection exam.... chuffed t bits for her.

    gonna walk t one daughters nd we are both gonna walk t others for a cuppa and a natter.... saw them both yesterday nd went for pub meal with one and yet we need a catch up lol. 

    Anywhose..... have as good a day as u can peeps. Oooh hope yr person finally turned up for yr quote rileyroo :-)

    Ooh Sandra B&M is always dangerous territory lol....I don't think I can ever leave without this need to buy something lol. 

    No bad. ...although I'm still coughing the chest infection is much more under control. 

    The good......holibobs tomorrow and I'm full packed! Yay. Will be offline for a few weeks but will check in on my return. 

    Hope you all have a good few weeks and hugs and positivity to those having tests or treatment x

    good :- booked t see Cher in October nd dr hook in November.... reallllly looking forward. 

    Lil ones off for Easter hols for just over 2 wks.,.. best start looking on Pinterest for craft ideas t keep em busy then (in my element lol).

    Took lil ones on walk yesterday... found branch which we brought home. They put it in a rusty jug, filled jug with some slate chippings ( both out of garden) nd decorated it for Easter. Kept em busy for 2.5 hrs - cracking :-) pride of place on their table ️

    Sundial, id never be in the actual house if I had a garden and garden room like that.....lovely!

    Sandra......I thought I was creative but you put me to shame. The tree is such a lovely idea. I may have to copy you :)

    Good - 2nd week back at work and all going well. Loving being in a routine and havent found it tiring at all. Baby kicking away now. Jamie felt him for the first time the other night so was a proud parent moment. Very active little man.....even kicking the dog up the bum when she sits on my lap lol

    Bad - Had a call from Graces Dads Mum (we are all still on very good terms) Her auntie Molly sadly passed away last night from a stroke. Molly was very kind to me throughout my cancer treatment. Always sending me little cards and having masses said in my name and lighting candles in the church (she was very religious) Was sad news to get but she was 93 bless her and had a lovely long life. Im sure she'll continue looking after me from up there :)
