Hi Beach. Thanks for asking He’s in a bit of an information overload. He has s bag full of papers to go through at some time. He was at the hospital for six hours, He saw pre op nurse, physio, stoma nurse and anaesthetist plus had blood taken and ECG. He managed between it all to grab a sandwich and a Costa. 

The conclusion is that he’s fit for the op and needs to ring the surgeon’s secretary tomorrow to set things in motion for a op date. I think he’s a bit stunned at how fast things are moving now. Well we’ve been there. I’ve welcomed him to the seat next to me on the roller coaster....

Glad it went well and he can have the op! Oh the dreaded rollercoaster!! The one that you never really leave! Hopefully your both sleep a little more tonight knowing at last things are moving forward x 

Hi ladies. So sorry I've been dipping in and out. I doo keep up with what's going on though.

Garden and hobby pics look lovely. Beach you got this hun....hopefully results will come through soon and fingers crossed all will be well. Sundial...i hope hubby is able to make the decision that is right for him. And yo all the ladies having treatment....keep pushing forward x

The good in my life.....new grandson is due in just over 2 weeks, egypt in 5 weeks.

The bad in my life.....little one fractured her arm last week, hospital visits now extended to include fracture clinic for her. Hubby has hospital check today. Has had his gold markers implanted ready for his radiotherapy. Today sees his leg surgeon about his injury from last year as had another scan on the tendon. And my 1 year diagnosis is next week, with my mammogram due on 27th March. 

To balance the bad....I fully believe we will get through this. Its not going to control our outlook on life. We just got about 20 years worth of bad luck in 1 year.....must mean we are about to be blessed for the next 19 lol.

All you ladies going thru the rollercoaster - am still on there right behind you. So true - we never really get off but we will be damned if it's going to knock us off!

Did part one of Wedding festivities- politics and all. Part two starting today until sat. So glad when it'll be over. Stressing me out.

My son arrives tomorrow so that is keeping me going. Have missed him alot. Fatigue has hit today so got to put that lipstick on, straighten my crown and perform!

I had an MRI on Saturday to see what my two tumours are up to. I am waiting for an urgent phone call although I am due to see my oncologist in two weeks. I am worried they have found something horrid.

Thank you. Hubby is doing ok. Suffering with very regular hot flushes due to his hormone treatment but we are about half way through his treatment now. It's always fun if we start flushing together lol....clothes are flying in all directions. Am trying yo get on here a bit more but difficult as I'm juggling work, lecturing and hospital appointments all at once lol.
