Glad to hear your appointment is all set now. At least you can get some answers and won't be in limbo any more very soon. Fingers crossed it's nothing and you will have peace of mind. 

I spoke with my manager today and told her I can't increase my hours as I'm wiped out from the 4 a day now. She agreed straight away and told me I'm trying to run before I can walk. So I'm on 4 hours again this week and if I can't increase next week I will ask again for an extension. The good news is that my caseload is really low....only 2 people on it at the moment instead of the usual 35+. So I'm taking my time and will increase this slowly.

Out of hospital and no compression stockings, Yay

Bad

Very sore and very tired. Couldn’t get comfy in hospital. Diabetes threw a curved ball and had to stay longer time in recovery. Came back to ward attached to various  drips and machines. Couldn’t lie down, coukdnt  go to loo without being unplugged and couldn’t sit on comfy chair because tubes wouldn’t reach. Very miserable night, Finalky gave up at 4-30 and sat on bed for half the rest of the night and the other half sat on a plastic visitors chair,

But yay home but just can’t settle. Thanks everyone for your good wishes and support.

The good:- good day with the lil ones. 

The bad:- we are forecast for thunderstorms tomorrow with warnings of flash floods etc. Hope everyone keeps safe.

Sundial

Aww sundial sounds like you had a rough night! Hopefully now you are home you will have a speedy recovery with no further infections. The dreaded wait is the pits...but each day is a day closer hun. At least you will now know for sure about any spread to the lymphs.

The good; my middle daughter is pregnant! They been trying for about 2 years and had a miscarriage last year. It's still early days but am keeping everything crossed. Will be my 4th grandbabys.. ..exciting things to look forward to.

The bad; knackered and feeling slightly tearful....although the damn has not broken! I have no idea why and I actually have no reason to be down so am a bit confused about it and feel like a fraud. Trying to keep on the positive side of everything and not give in to wallowing....as I clearly have no reason to.

Congratulations nanny cournishpastie ... fingers crossed for this one .. and you feel down, if anyone deserves to feel below par it's you .. we tell others to get it all out ... and you've been there for so many even when you were recovering ... your amazing , just not super woman ... and back to work too .. you pat yourself on the back ... after you've released all those feelings ...  slightly tearfull? You go girl ... 

Glad our sundial is getting back to your ok self ... and hope results for you and beachbabe are good, everything crossed .. hope everyone else is coping with this horrible weather ... I'm melting ... so night night ladies ... you all rock ...

good: meeting my little sister and nephews for a day in the sunshine. Things have been a bit strange between us as I’ve said previously so hopefully we can build bridges and I can get down to the bottom of why the whole family have gone funny on me.

bad: my other boob yesterday was so painful and it’s  not even the poorly one. Even hurt for the shower to spray on it. I’m putting it down to the aches and pains I usually get the first week after chemo but if it carries on I think it will need looking at.

apart from that, all good :-)
