Well, a week after surgery I saw my surgeon and he said stage 1A no lymph nodes involved so radiation and HT , 2 days later I go to the oncologist and everything ok , nice. everyone happy and she gives me a copy of the post op pathology report and I was reading it a couple of days ago I'm reading the pathology  results say all 15 lymph nodes clear , stage 1A but on the last page on the intraoperative report says section show four lymph nodes with nodes with metastatic carcinoma. you can imagine, I went to the surgeon's office today to find out , is this a big mistake or a typo??? dr not in today, he's in surgery but girl at the office got a hold of the Dr and He's checking now with the pathologist. I'm scared, upset , nervous. HOW CAN THIS BIG DISCREPANCY HAPPENED??? Because this could change the course of treatment. I guess we have to be checking all the results and we can't trust ANYONE!!!! AAAggghhh .

Right now waiting for that dreaded call to see if there is metastatic cancer or not. I thought I was past this already .

Thank you ladies, no didn’t have mri just mammogram on both then ultrasound on left and biopsies. Right wasn’t looked at after mammogram x

Oh my god. I have also suffered with a mid diagnoses and mine could have been a stage one but now stage three due to incompatence!!! I am taken them to court and make sure you do the same. We trust these people with our lives and things like this happen. It’s far from acceptable xx

Brill... as u say means they were more than happy with the mammogram results nd no concerns to need an MRI :-).

Sorry I haven't been about. Have been reading all your posts but my planned holiday to Turkey was awful...if anything could go wrong it did, including my little one ending up with stitches in her leg after cutting it open on the hotel pool and both me and other half coming down with upset stomachs as we landed....so have been getting over that before my trip to Venice tomorrow.

Well I've missed loads and am sorry I've not been around to share the highs and lows. Beachbabe you got this hun. I can tell this has rocked you but you've done the right thing and you know the rollercoaster. I won't say that it will make it any easier...rather less of the unknown. You know the anxiety, you know the tests, you know the waiting times, and you know your facts. You've done the right thing and now it's back on the ride hun. We are sitting next to you x

Liliana....wow....just wow. I'm so glad you are like me and read every report you can get your hands on. They definately need to get this clarified with certainty. I have everything crossed for you hun that this comes back as a mistake and you get to stay at stage 1A. Did they say when you will get the correct info hun...what a nightmare x
