The good and the bad

Hi peeps

I have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. Taking the excellent advice on this website I pretty much started by taking it one day at a time. This does indeed help.

I thought to share the good and the bad and would love to hear anyone else's should they wish to share.

Today I had both a good and a bad moment. I received 2 letters in the post.

The first was from the hosp confirming my op date (my bad moment) cos my stomach dropped and I had that now familiar feeling of anxiousness take hold for a moment but shook it off cos I know it is needed.

The good - my 2nd letter - as if... a tax rebate - boom  . Not half put a much needed smile on my face . Reckon a my treat family meal is in order.

Eeee it's the little things ain't it.

Take care peeps

  • Well ladies and others.

    Bad

I'm in hospital.  One of my tiny little incisions got infected. Went absolutely mega confused, shaky, shivery and all. Had a ride with a fit young paramedic in an emergency ambulance. Spent a while in a very crowded a and e. Then bypassed a and e and saw gynae doc. Long story short on intravenous antibiotics.

    Good

Im ok. Home later hopefully and Costa on the way home.

i guess I don’t do things by halves. Oh and gynae at my local hospital is on the private ward. Ensuite  rooms and plenty of staff. I’d had four cups of tea before 11 o’clock this morning. Lol

  • Oh No...def what you could do without ( well other than the fit paramedic;-) hope u get home soon ndfeeli g better. Hugs me dear x

  • Had breakfast, walk down woods done.

in garden now with chilled kopparberg  nd book. Ah the peace the quiet the warmth the ...... stillsaw.... whatttt... bummer,  someone just cranked up a stillsaw interrupting my tranquility ... . Ah well it’ll keep me awake till get picked up for tea at caravan.... sigh. X
