I'm a single mum of two beautiful children and today I found out my thyroid cancer looks to have resurfaced.  Feel so scared and dreading the radioactive iodine treatment. After escaping a terrible marriage, my children don't cope with me away for a day. I dread to think how they will cope for a week or six :(
