Hi everyone. I've been told i will have a scan half way through my radio treatment to see how it's working. Is this normal? i thought it would just be done at the end?
I had a scan halfway through my radiotherapy they did it just before a treatment session on the same machine. I did not have a special drink before or the dye injection.
I was told it was part of the process to see if anything had changed and to make sure that they were still targeting the right areas. Also it was routine so don't worry you will have another scan after your treatment is finished.
