I'm sorry to hear you're waiting to have chemo.  Is this the second time you will have chemo or the first?  I know it's horrible to have to wait to begin your treatment.  At least you've had the tumour removed.  Are you still sore from your surgery?

I was diagnosed with Stage 4 ovarian cancer back in November 2014 and was anxious to start fighting back at the cancer as soon as possible.  I was sad and scared as I was told it is uncurable but that just made me want to begin my battle with it as soon as possible.  My husband was working away a lot at the time and I spent lots of time on my own, trying to "stay positive".  I know how scary it can be but don't be too hard on yourself ... it's not a nice thing to suffer and you're bound to feel down sometimes (and that's allowed).  Just remember, you need to be strong to fight this horrible illness and I really do believe that having a positive attitude will help you get through this.

I don't know how ill you are, but if you can get out and about a bit, that will help to take your mind off your illness.  I went to our local hospice and met some very nice people (several who had cancer and were going through similar experiences to myself).  I found it helpful to talk to others and it was something to look forward to each week.

I do hope you feel better soon and I don't know if you're religious or not, but there's a lot to be said for the power of prayer.
