Oxaliplatin - horrible reaction

Yesterday I had my second treatment of adjuvant chemotherapy, first treatment was very managable, but yesterdays was not so nice :( not sure I want the third.... anyone else have a problem with this drug, my treatment is combination of this and Capecitabine

Hi, I've only managed 2/4 cycles, currently in hospital after horrendous side effects so my oncologist has stopped chemo now and wants to see me in 2 weeks to discuss next steps, did you not get offered any other treatment?

No, no other treatment offered only that they could reduce the strength, but didn't take the chance. So far so good and have had a scan but had to go private, everything was ok on scan. Good luck with your treatment its not easy.
