Please, please don't be depressed by second guessing what your results will be in a months time.  If they are good you will have wasted so much time worrying and if they are not what you would have hoped you will wish you had spent your time better.

I last saw my oncologist 6 weeks ago when I found my cancer had spread and was incurable.  I have taken a hormone pill since then as experimentation because I didnt want chemo and have had my scans.  Tuesday I go back for results.  I refuse to waste these days worrying because who knows.  Life is precious - try to be positive, I know how hard it is.

I hope you have some pain medication.  Am thinking of you and, believe me, I understand and empathise, with you, we all have those thoughts.  Let us know how you get on, please.

Hi Pauline so much has happened since I last was on the site.  GP took bloods in May, results indicated could have problem with ovaries, had ultra sound, saw a gynaecologist  said all ok something called Ct15 was up. Ct scan 19 May saw consultant 22nd. Cancer in 2 nodes still active but not growing but spot on right hip bone. Had bone scan, pet scan ALK test on original biopsy waited 3 weeks for result of ALK and it was negative, no good. Saw consultant 12 june told no suitable for anti Cancer pill but pelvic bone clear. Found lump in neck Monday 22 GP wrote to professor at christies, Saw her on 26 June confirmed 2 tumours in neck lymph nodes. Now on palliative care, started 3 July  had 10 days radio but half way through found lump under chin left side. The prof ordered a fine needle aspiration  with ultra sound, have it this Friday nearly 4 weeks later. Feel neglected. Mac nurse at christies said they have not given up on me they are trying to give me more time. See oncologist 14 August 2 weeks wait again to discuss what next?
