Good morning JO,
What fantastic news. I am so pleased for you and yours.
I hope you have a wonderful time over Christmas and the New Year. :D
I had good news last week and was put on 6 monthly check ups a little early. But that means no appointment until May.
Enjoy the enforced rest. I am sure you can find lots to do.
Happy Hugs

Thank you Jo = yea - its some sickness bug at the school. I work in a supermarket (Asda) and I get through a large bottle of hand wash and a whole roll of towels every week to keep clean. I get a shower when i get in so not to pass on anything to Anne. Actually we had some good news as well - she passed her check up on Tuesday and is booked for scan in Feb. Its a year since the operation. Its a funny life turning event. She didn't want me to give up work - so I have soldiered on (it was hard not to cry at work - but my colleagues have been truely supportative as has Asda). Things have settled since and I am back to my studying - this time a study on how Myopia develops in children. I see lots of kids every day and so get lots of first hand chance to study this. I dare say that in the future - looking after your eyes will be part of the curiculum. Its been Christmas in Asda for a while - my best time and many of us dress in Christmassy clothes. Its a lot of fun. Nearer Christmas we will go quiet on our dept (opticians) I will transfer to wines and spirits which is manic!
So, we are on hold until Feb. Anne has kept the stoma and it is no problem to us. I order the stuff every month. Its jolly nice to hear your good news - such a bumpy road - eh? I bet you will be happy to get back to work - I am sure it won't be long - so enjoy every day off until the dreaded day of returning to the workhouse!!!
