Hi,

A few days before christmas my family found out that my nan has ovarian cancer, i came home early from school on the last day and was on the computer. i heard my mum scream upstairs so i ran up to see what was the matter, she told me that they would not be able to do much about the cancer because it is stage iv. i knew my nans cancer was advanced before she did, she found out after christmas because we didnt want to ruin her christmas. a few days later we found out it had spread to her liver lungs and pelvis so no operation could be done but they are currently giving her mild chemotherapy which i really hope will work. i love her so much, we're really close and its upsetting not being able to see her much because of how weak she is and the fact that she and grandad live 6 hours away we stayed near where they live for christmas, it was also horrible seeing my grandad so lifeless as well, both of them have always been so lively. my mum is helping them out by going to help her for one/two weeks then coming back for a week then going back, i really miss them.
