Unfortunately, after 30+ surgeries for brain cancer, I’ve developed Hydrocephalus as well. In order to allow for CSF to accumulate, and safely drain, I had 3 shunts implanted, as well as several proceedures for malfunctions, complications, etc. I have some serious balance issues that I’ll have for the rest of my life, and use a walker to get around. In my experience, hydrocephalus, and its complications can be difficult to manage, but are by no means a death sentence, if treated appropriately.
