Hi Everyone, I am new to this site, but I would like to say how Important it Is to get unusual symptons checked out! About a year after nearly losing my life with Blood clots blocking The main artery to my heart & other complications, I woke up one morning with minute specks of blood on my nightdress. At first I thought I'd had a Flea In the bed with me, being a dog owner. When it happened again the next night I looked at the tablets I was taking for my Illness. On one lot it stated side effects could cause unusual bleeding from gums etc. When I examined my breast I realised it was coming from the nipple. I still did'nt worry because of what I'd read about my tablets. However after another couple of days I decided to see my GP. I was duly sent for a needle Biopsy & the results came back as Pre Cancer cells. I was told that it could become full blown Cancer at any time In the future But I would not be able to have Chemotherapy or Radiotherapy. I was advised to have a Mastectomy. Well, I went ahead & had It done & have never regretted It. In fact, I class myself as very lucky to have had it done. I know people that have gone through Chemo. etc & being very poorly. I just wish everyone could be diagnosed as Pre Cancer. So Please, everyone look out for the smallest symptom & get it checked out!
