  • Hello Caroline and all the lovely ladies here,

I thought I'd just pop in like a Jack in the Box... There is a new user 'Latitude' who started her own thread. she is having a port removed from the implant so wants to talk about things like reconstruction. You can read her story here.

Thank you if you have a minute to say hello to her and talk about implants, ports, permanent expanders etc...

    Best wishes,

    Lucie, Cancer Chat Mod

  • Hi ladies

Such a sad day, our Tony has passed away. Thinking of our Rose n Lou n dizzy as well. Will miss you so much. Rose n Tony were like the mum n dad on this thread n helped so many people in their cancer journey. I've been really down but have picked up the last couple of months, unfortunately I don't have much energy still but will try to be here for anybody that needs me.

    Love leonie xxxxx

  • Hi Girls, absolutely devastating news, when I got a text from Nina on Sunday the tears were dripping off my chin, he surely was an inspiration to all of us, I cant quite get my head around it. I hope all of you girls are doing well. I just got results today of my mammogram, all clear, thank God, thats me 2 years free. I ran race for life in Glasgow last Sunday, such an emotional day, especially reading who people were racing for, young babies, small children, young and old, so flipping sad.

    Keep in touch. Col xx

  • Collie,

Brilliant news about your mammogram results...

Lousy news about Tony...... but he wouldn't want us to wallow..... He was one of the most amazing people I have ever spoken to, and I consider it a privilige to say he was my friend.

So tonight I will be raising a lovely glass of red to all my lovely friends that have gone before me.

    love Caz xxx
