Hello Maki
Ditto what Colly and Linda said about the taxotare, you will most probably be having the herceptin at same time as I did. They will keep an eye on you for the first treatment. The time has gone quickly since you first came on here and before you know it the chemo will be finished and then it is just the herceptin. I know it sounds daunting but the side effects from the herceptin are nowhere near as bad as with the chemo and you will start to feel stronger after a while. I am having my last herceptin on Thursday and it will seem strange not going to the clinic after all this time. I have made friends with the nurses and a couple of ladies and I will miss them. I think you are exactly where I was this time last year and sometimes I just cannot believe what has happened. Strictly Come Dancing got me through the dark nights last year! Do you like it? I am a bit behind this year and haven't got around to watching it yet.
Colly and Linda nice to hear your news and that life is getting back to normal - well you know what I mean.
Hello to all the other ladies and Tony - hope you are well and enjoying this fantastic weather! I have heard from 3 different people though that we are supposed to be having snow by end of October!!
Take care all
Anne

Hello all,
Just checking in so that you know all is okay in my camp....suffering a bit with nuclear diarrhoea but other than that all is okay...cant complain...saying that I just did LOL
Much Love
Tony xxxxxx
You complain away Tony. Our dear friend Hayley lost her three year battle with breast cancer a couple of weeks back. I keep going though, campaigning, fundraising and supporting. I must admit to almost throwing in the towel when we lost Hayley but I have been persuaded to keep plugging away.
You take care.RD
Hey everyone, so much seems to have happened since i was last here, some good, some not so good. I often think about all the wonderful people i have met and had guide me through this journey and hey presto, when i sign in, you are all here. The weather has been great, and i sat out for a while reading yesterday, but i felt a bit odd wearing a bra type top - i wondered about sunburn, but hey i was okay so i was pleased that i could enjoy the sun in short bursts. love to you all .... sara xxx
Hi everyone
I'm sorry I haven't post for a while, I'm struggling with everything at the mo. I took steroids for two weeks but didn't feel any better for it n really don't like the dreaded 'roids! Remembered the muscle one, it's fibromyalgia. As I understand, people don't recover but do have periods of being better. A life of pain n fatigue does not give me much joy for the future. I'm housebound n miserable. N I've lost my fight. Need to find it again. I cried less when they told me I had cancer! Mad ey. Sorry to be so down, at least I haven't got cancer again. Jons been great, he does everything n my mum helps when he's at work. I just can't find any energy n I want my life back. Just thought I'd get better like you other ladies. It's hard to deal with. Maki I feel for you love going through all this. Jan n Linda thanks for thinking of me.
Love to you all n hope to be more positive soon. Xxxxxxx

hi thanks to dizzie who replied to me about gp. I went this morning and she is not worried she thinks its the tail end of flu. I hope I won't be needing your help again but you were there for me. You asked what I teach. I teach Maths in a Secondary school in Coventry. Its hard work but I enjoy it.
Hi Lonie, Ladies and Tony
Lonie so glad to hear from you, hope you are feeling better in yourself.

Hugs and kisses
Littlesis (Linda)
Hi Bfield,
Glad your GP was able to reassure you...keep an eye on things though and make sure you go back if you're unsure.
Maths is a hard subject to teach - no wonder you were feeling under the weather
