Hi Chancer
You will find lots of company on here. Hubby can join in too, as a partner of a BC lady I have been through the journey. PMs are ok too. Anything technical or medical the nurses are brilliant, you can even give them a call.
Stay in touch.

Hi girls
So glad you posted been worried. Sorry it's arthritis but so glad it's not cancer! At least now you will get help to deal with it.
My app was a waste of time apart from them taking bloods. Don't know what they will test for though. It's probably side affects from meds though they don't know why I've started to feel worse. I'm not happy. I've been out 3 times in the last 3 weeks n spend most of the time laying down. What more can I do to rest n get some energy! I'm fed up being ill. I'll post later.
Will drink to you later. Xxxxx
Hi,
I hear you on the fatigue - my oncologist reckons part chemo, part drugs I am on so have told me to go back to my palliative care team as they will know of nerve treatments which don't make me so tired...I am on something called amitriptyline which knocks me for six.
I do hope they get the answers soon from the test...one thing that explained tiredness was when I had the results of my CT scan....whilst all remained stable with the cancer they noticed inflammation in one of my lungs so showed up a chest infection that I wasn't aware of. I was coughing a bit of rubbish up and like I said feeling the fatigue so now I know why.
Nice hot salt baths should help too!
Much Love

Hi Anne,
I would like to ask you about side eff from FEC. On Friday I had my first teraphy, I was feeling a bit sick but now two three days latter I feel very tired and more sick, also dizzy. I am sorry to bother you and I know that we all have different side effects,
I hope you are ok and have a lovely evening
Mariana xx
Hi Maki, hope you are starting to feel better, I also felt sick after 1st session of chemo, but once I got the anti sickness tablets into my system I felt so much better (I also had FEC) all I can say is 1 year down the line I feel and look the picture of health, hope this bit of re assurance is of help.
Leonie, Nina & rest of you guys and gals hope everyone is doing well.
Lee how are you babe, long time no hear?

Hi Maki
You are not bothering me at all. I was always sick on the first day of having the FEC and then felt sick for a few days but the anti sicknes tablets helped. I just used to take it steady for a few days and by the second week I felt better. Everyone is different and I would say what you are experiencing is normal, take the anti sickness tablets if you are feeling sick. Have a ginger biscuit and a cup of tea if you cannot face anything too much. As the days go by you will feel better and by week three you will feel stronger, ready for the next dose, but I think it sort of helps knowing what to expect.
It all seems a long old haul but it will soon pass and you will get through it like we all have.
Keep in touch - thinking of you.
I have just come back from Pilates class which is helping me to get stronger and feel better.
Lots of love Anne x
Colly - you are looking amazing - great to see. x
Thinking of all of you ladies and Tony - keep strong x
