I like your style .Asda have a good mastectomy bra for £7.50 but they all seem to be soft cups so I cut the slightly padded cups from a bra and put them in the pockets, best of both worlds !!!

I went the doctors as well in january & she said she was referring me for a mammogram. When i got to the hospital it was only a consultation then they referred me for a mammogram & ultrasound,i was lucky as a few days later i was sent for a biopsy.I then had a phone call a few days later to go back.I was diagnosed in february,i had my op on 10th march & just about to start my radiotherapy.I really dont know how iv managed & coped.Im 39 no parents(my mum passed away a few months ago)iv got no sisters only brothers & they been good but its not the same,iv got friends but its just not the same.Im struggling more now than b4 been diagnosed & my op,Now they saying they want me have tests to see if its a gene that runs in the family but iv decided against it,dont know if its cuz of how im feeling right now & thinking that its only just hit me
Havnt been on for wee while, I was rushed to hospital Friday past with a blood clot in one of my lungs So as well as having to cope with chemo I now have to daily inject heprin for at least the next 6 month. My oncologist told me honestly the chemo caused it!!!!! So ladies if you get a pain in you back or side please check with your GP
Sorry for moaning as I try not too But Im so damn angry rite now
Hope this finds you as well as you can be Take care xxxxx
Hi Spirits,
I cant see that you are moaning at all and even if you were this forum is the right place to do it. Your note to the lovely ladies on here is passing on personal knowledge that I am sure they will all be grateful for especially if they get a pain in their back or side!
Great that you can come on here when feeling angry...thanks for sharing.
Stay cool

You must have had an awful fright.hope you are recovering now.Chemo always has its risks.I was rushed into hospital before Christmas and had 1 litre of fluid removed from around my heart which was caused by the chemo I was on then.If it hadnt been for me ringing my GP and his quick action I would have had a heart atack.I am still weak and lost 2 stone due to it .
Try not to waste energy being angry as these things unfortunately are common side effects.Take time to recover as best you can,not easy with a hectic life but good luck.and you are not moaning, just warning others.

Hi I'm new to the site I have just been told My biopsy has shown cancerous cells and I am waiting for an MRI and feeling anxious
Sorry you need to be here but welcome. You are at the worse stage now,the waiting and thinking all sorts.try to keep busy and get out and about as much as possible and remember the outcome will be the same if you worry or not. I was told to set aside 10 mins twice a day to worry and make myself refuse to worry outside those times.Sounds hard but it does work.
Keep coming on here for support.
good luck
