Hey Dizzyrascal
Although I had bowel cancer I had a needle fitted too...I really hate needles and the thought terrified me, I almost never had IV chemo because of it but weighed up the odds and weathered through it...I had a PICC line fitted which stung a little but not half as bad as I thought. The worst part was the local anaesthetic which is wiped on with a cloth, that stung a little bit more and made me laugh out loud when the doctor doing it said this may sting a little....
As with most things the thought is worse than the actual event and once it is in there will be no more needle in the back of your hand every cloud aye!
Much Love

The cancer hass NOT spread to the lymph nodes........ And I don't need radio therapy.
I find out next week if I have to have chemo..... but that is by the by... I can cope with anything now I know it hasn't spread
I will let you know as soon as I know.
Its about time we had a bit of good news... and this is the best news I could have had. Xxx
