Hi everyone
just to let you know chemo starts tomorrow! so will update you on how im doing, Ive tried to get myself prepared ...Wigs, bandanas, healthy eating, exercise etc etc...so let the battle commence;) xx
Hi Shelley welcome to this thread and sorry it's under these circumstances. Do keep chatting on here -natural to be scared. There are a great bunch of people who will be able to assist you on here and talking really does help.
Take care
Hi Lee just a note to wish you all the best tomorrow - good on ya for being prepared. I will be thinking of you tomorrow.
I too have an appointment tomorrow ready for my next op in 2/3 weeks time - so all the best and take care.
Hi Lou
Sorry to read you have been feeling down with Chemo. Perfectly natural though as it used to get me down as I often felt really under the weather with it. I used to do a count down and have objectives and goals at the end of it to try and help myself.
Anyway just wanted to wish you well and say all the best,
Hi Lee,
You go girl !!Good luck for tomorrow.Never expect to actually go in at your appointed time,I see so many people getting stressed because they have to wait but sometimes they have to repeat someones bloods and then fit them in on top of a full clinic.Take a good book, although I was far too nosey to read a lot !!
Good luck lovely girl.

Hi Fi,
Hope things go well tomorrow.Only good news allowed this week so you should be OK !!
Fingers crossed for you,

Hi Shelley,
Sorry to hear your news but welcome to the gang. You are now going through the worst part--the waiting when your mind throws every worst scinario you have ever heard.Treatment is brilliant now and as a 3 1/2 year on BC survivor i can certainly vouch for this.
There is another forum called www.bcpals.org.uk which deals only with BC and I know there is someone there who has sternum diagnosis as well.
I have been treated for secondary in lymph nodes in neck and chest for 2 years and while it is not curable it is being contained with tablets.Keep us posted so that we can support you.
Good luck,
Rose xxx
