i found out 2 week before xmas i had thyoid cancer then they just left me to it ,just got a date on saturday im going back in for another operation in 2 weeks why do these things always happen to the good ones.the stress of all the waiting i no i will be fine its just the fear of the unknown ,i had the lump for 13 years i never ever thought i would get cancer ,i think its harder on the family i feel i need to stay stong for the ,xx

    hi hun,i had my baby in aug last year.not long after haveing her,i found a lump in my neck.i got it looked at and found out i had 3.2 on my thyroid and one in my chest,they were confirmed as cancerous.i had surgery on the 11th feb and ive just undergone radio-iodine treatment,im hopeing the treatment is successful for my 5 children.ive had a scan,so i know it hasnt spread.im keeping strong,its been a hard time for us all.xx
