Thankyou for replying with useful tips. The staying positive bit is hard to do at times. How do you manage the pain that bone cancer causes.

I told my nurses. As my cancer was only at stage one I had several doses of low dose chemo of two chemo drugs. I then had limb salvage operation after which I continued with the drugs. 

Thanks bone cancer patient you've certainly been through it with the treatments can I ask which type of bone cancer were you treated for and are you cancer free now.

Heya. Stage 1A osteosarcoma moderate risk. I underwent the surgery after several weeks of moderate dose chemo. Then after it they reviewed things at a team meeting and lowered it slightly. To answer your question now I’m stable disease. 

Regarding the exercise for my type of cancer I found light intensity exercise better. I did lots of my exercise sitting down. There was a therapeutic gym at the Royal Marsden and I was also offered aqua therapy at a pool closer to home as well. Ask your medical team what options would work best for you however. They can give you more advice and support on that matter in question. Good luck.
