I am sorry to hear about your dizziness and can understand why you're reluctant to start the medication that you have been prescribed. Why don't you phone your breast care nurse and tell her how you feel? This is the sort of situation that she is here for. There may well be another medication which won't cause any further dizziness. You will probably find that you need to leave a message in the first place, but they usually get back to you quickly.

Hi thank you so much for your reply. I contacted my cancer help line who have spoken to my consultant. They have added a sleeping tablet short term. Changed steroid times to early afternoon and given me one weekly injection of Filgrastim instead of 7! So I am so grateful for that so let’s see how we go.

You sound a lot happier with these plans - I sincerely hope that they work out well for you. Never be afraid to question any plans that you are unhappy about. Don't forget that your specialist nurse is always there to help out if you need her.

That’s really good advice you gave me. I just thought it was a case off get through it best we can. But I had a good sleep so that helped.
