  • Hi Sandra,

A very warm welcome to our forum.

I am sorry to hear about your dizziness and can understand why you're reluctant to start the medication that you have been prescribed. Why don't you phone your breast care nurse and tell her how you feel? This is the sort of situation that she is here for. There may well be another medication which won't cause any further dizziness. You will probably find that you need to leave a message in the first place, but they usually get back to you quickly.

Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx

  • Hi thank you so much for your reply. I contacted my cancer help line who have spoken to my consultant. They have added a sleeping tablet short term. Changed steroid times to early afternoon and given me one weekly injection of Filgrastim instead of 7! So I am so grateful for that so let’s see how we go.
    regards
