I also have mets in lower spine and pelvis and I’m in agony. On morphine for pain, but barely helps. Radiotherapy for 5 days next week could help, but could take months. Breast cancer also in liver and lungs for which I’m about to start treatment. Really scared. But I have been in (undiagnosed) pain since April so at least ‘moving forward’ now. Can’t quite believe that I could have any quality of life back. Anyone else been through this? B/w all

i am so sorry to hear you are in pain. Have you spoken to the macmillan nurses; there surely must be something they can give you to stop this. 

I was in bits whenI was first diagnosed, but now take comfort from the fact that a lot can be done nowadays to help us and increase the quality and quantity of our lives.

diagnosed with NSCLC in January .Coping well with Immunotherapy but 3 weeks ago I started feeling pain in my lower spine … Fast forward a week in Hospital, MRI to pin the spot and started Radiother y ..4th session today , last and 5th tomorrow . Getting up out of bed is a screaming match and likewise getting back upstairs . I get relief at night ..sleep well and comfy . During the day am in a heelchair as it’s too painfull to move Am on the liquid morphine which I think helps 20mins before I get up etc . I hope the radiotherapy will kick in soon  so that I can get some mobility back . My poor muscles are wasting away
