  • Hi Mich_ael- and welcome to Cancer Chat.

I'm sorry to hear you're waiting for a colonoscopy not long after having treatment for throat cancer.

This must be a very worrying and stressful time but our community are here for you Mich_ael- and I'm sure some of our members who have been on this journey will offer their support and advice to you soon.

I hope knowing a bit more about the procedure will help to ease your mind but if it would help to have a chat with one of our cancer nurses, you can give them a call on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very insightful and will do all they can to help.

I hope some of these tips I've found on managing anxiety will help as well but in the meantime, we're sending you all our support and wishing you all the best for next week.

We'll be thinking of you Mich_ael- and will have our fingers crossed for a good outcome.

    Kind regards,

    Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
