Anyone receiving Denosumab XGEVA

Is anyone here receiving Denosumab XGEVA for metastatic bone cancer

Ive been advised to have this by injection  to slow the progression of the cancer and prevent bone fractures.

Id like to know how well it is tolerated and what side effects you have experienced.

Thanks in advance

Ed

  • Hi Lee I have MRIs every 3 months at the moment as I have private healthcare.   But I am  nearly retirenent age although don’t want to give up totally but time will come and won’t be able to afford the premiums.  Think NHS are great when it comes to cancer but I know I will not be able to have MRIs that frequently and my Oncologist thinks once a year at most.  It’s a bit of a concern as obviously used to the extra checks.   Hope you are having lovely weekend.   Ed Hooe you are enjoying Brittany!   I go to Florence in 2 weeks and as usual worry about catching colds etc.  i will happily wear a mask on plane and trains.
