I hope you've had a few more sunny days, in more than one way, since sharing your update with us over the weekend. 

It's understandable that you're feeling anxious ahead of your next appointment. Hopefully, when you see the team they will be in a position to give you some reassurance about your results and how your treatment will move forward. 

We know that for many people, waiting for appointments can be a difficult time. It can often help to talk things through with someone and I wonder if you might find it useful to chat with one of our nurses ahead of seeing the Consultant. I know they will be happy to listen and offer any advice and support they can. If you'd like to talk with them they're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

As it turns out I did manage to see my cancer care nurse and the surgeon who did my last operation today.

If I need any help from one of the nurses in the days ahead I would not hesitate to call.
