Is this real?

Hi I'm new here looking for some advice I have stage 4 terminal cancer,which is metastatic in my lymph nodes lung and bones.Feeling really low head is in a dark place.I was just wondering if there was any charities or grants that supply beds.Due to the drastic amount of weight loss finding it very difficult to sleep.Lots of nights laid awake in pain and unable to get comfortable.Medication does not seem to be working.Also I was wondering if anyone had any success with housing etc if your home was too big and affected your health.If anyone can help etc housing and bed would be really appreciated I'm in the Sheffield area.This is a really big step for me so thank you for reading.

    Hi Damagedsoul. I’m so sorry about your diagnosis. I’m not sure about the bed situation but I’ve found my local hospice palliative care team to be brilliant, on a whole range of things. They’ve really helped with my bad sleeping and definitely have experts to help with housing, finances and medication, as well as complementary therapies.  I had a look for Sheffield-based hospices and St Luke’s came up - https://www.stlukeshospice.org.uk. Maybe they could help? Good luck with everything, I know how much bad sleep can affect absolutely everything so I feel for you. Xx
