Sorry to hear you have prostate cancer, Your PSA score is still very low and the recent rise may have nothing to do with your cancer, as you are on active surveillance your cancer will be small, well inside your prostate, slow growing and low or very low risk, and may never need treatment, I have heard about SBRT, the 5 dose radiotherapy treatment you mentioned, I don't know if diverticulitis would mean you couldn't have it, though i understand the radiation has to be able to reach the prostate without going through any other organs, If you are happy with your consultant and trust him i would get my bloods done and get on with life and not worry about something that may never happen, PS i have prostate cancer, take care.

Hi Eddie thank you very much for getting back to me it is very much appreciated I wasn’t aware that my psa results were very low so thank you for the information if I new then what I no now I would never have sold my touring caravan me and the wife loved going away with our friends but when I found out I had the cancer I got rid of the caravan as I didn’t want to leave my wife with the problem if the worse come to the worse but as they say hindsight is a wonderful think so thank you Eddie for getting back to me and take care kind regards Danny
