I have a friend diagnosed with lung cancer. It’s been 12 months and a bit with a variety of treatment. There is a secondary growth now on the abdomen and there is a telephone consultation with a radiographer due next week.
I want to be as supportive as possible but realistic as well. My friend wants to know when the secondary growth will be treated and disappear but I am not so sure that will be the case.
What is likely to be asked or information delivered on a telephone consultation and how can I prepare for it
