Hi Sharon How you doing? I was diagnosed with a suspected malignant deep seated mass in the clavicle area. Over a 4 week period I had the usual blood tests, biopsy, lung function test plus scan. I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer. With the first, I was taking Tamoxifen after my lumpectomy, but I had a second bout within a year. Because it had grown with the Tamoxifen, I then had a double mastectomy and changed to Letrozole for 6 and a half years. That was all 14 years ago and I still lead a busy and fulfilling life. Has your care team mentioned any other treatments for you? This is usually what happens.

I can fully understand how you feel. Don't look too far ahead. Try to take things one day at a time, or even hour by hour if need be. Has your consultant discussed any further treatment with you yet, or where have you been left?
