I am a few days out of hospital after a chest infection, 3rd cycle of chemo completed 3 more to go. Very worried and concerned about the next 3 cycles. Feel like hump day and can't channel the positive feelings I had.
Any words of wisdom?!?

I had chest infections 3 times during chemo and that on top of chemo made me feel terrible. The last infection I had was a week before my penultimate chemo and my bloods were low and chemo was postponed 2 weeks - that was when I wondered if it was all worth it and I was very liw at this point. The GP wanted to send me in to hospital but I managed to persuade him I would be better at home so with lots of promises he let me go home. I managed without going into hospital. You don’t say what cancer you have but I think we all have our ups and downs. A positive attitude I believe is the key to fighting this disease. Can you visualise going on holiday perhaps at the end of treatment? Or something else you could look forward to to raise your spirits. Anything that will bring your positivity back. Sending you big hugs, love yourself.
Hi breast cancer 2022, and again 2023,
Surgery only 1st Time around. Just struggling as not much support, guess I'll fell better when recovered.
Good idea to have Somethings to look forward to. Been looking at holidays.
Good. Hope you find something to look forward to.
I have just finished my 3rd cycle and have 4 to go. Time I have to say seems to go so slowly but I feel I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. You are half way through and that’s amazing. I agree that you should plan things in for you to look forward to. Every chemo you are moving forward, you are doing brilliantly.
