Hello Kat-7 and welcome to the forum.
I'm sorry to hear that you're living with three cancers. I'm sure that it's been a difficult time for you and you've probably felt quite overwhelmed by things since your diagnoses.
I think that many of our members here will understand the struggles that come with a cancer diagnosis including struggling with some aspects of our mental health. The diagnosis, and subsequent treatments, can take a huge toll on us not just physically but mentally and emotionally as well. Try not to be too hard on yourself.
We have some information on our website about coping with cancer here that you might find helpful and may offer you some reassurance that what you're experiencing is normal. Don't be afraid to talk to those around you about how you're feeling. Lean on family and friends for practical help and support. You might want to mention how you're feeling at your next hospital appointment or if you have access to a nurse specialist then give them a call.
If you'd like to talk things through with one of our team of nurses you're welcome to call them on 0808 800 4040, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. I'm sure they will be happy to listen and offer any advice, information, and support they can.
Best wishes,
Jenn

Hi Kat-7, I have also been let down many times on my cancer journey. It took many calls and over a month to see a GP, was told 2 weeks later i had cancer only to be told i have to have another test in a month to confirm it. At urology i turned up for tests which i needed to prepare for, but wasn't told, was sent home half way through tests because a nurse hadn't read my notes fully, was told i needed a scan and it would be done within 2 weeks, 3 weeks later nothing so phoned and got an appointment for 8 days time, turned up for scan it hadn't been booked eventually my 2 week scan took 7 weeks, At diagnosis was told RT would start within 6 months took over10 months. At diagnosis locally advanced prostate cancer i was also told about the urgency of starting RT as soon as possible, didn't see a consultant again for 10 months and never since, had a scan 6 weeks before HT then another just before, In that time my cancer had spread, more than halving my life expectancy, RT April 2022, no consultation, no scans and only 1 PSA test, as due to see consultant end of November and still waiting, no calls or Emails have been returned, Was due another appointment in April to discuss treatment going forward, i have no idea if it will happen. Have talked to other medical professionals, about my condition, prostate, seminal vesicle, lymph node, bowel, bladder and anal cancer and are pretty much in agreement that any further treatment would not ne worth the physical impact of treatment. Good luck to you Kat.
