Finding things hard

Hi, I was diagnosed at the start of the year and I'm struggling with things. I find it hard and frustrating not being able to do quite as much as I used to be able to. I struggle with not feeling well and sometimes it gets on top of me and I do feel a bit upset and low - I was on this forum and must have worded things a bit wrong because the mods thought I was in danger and now they referred me? But I don't know what that means. Last thing I need is to have people come to the house checking on me. My hubby and kids don't need the extra stress none of us do. Does anyone know if that's likely to happen or am I just more likely to get a support service email me?

On more positive side I have been doing a lot more healthy eating and tried some yoga. I'm not noticing a huge difference yet but hoping it will come later.

I wish I could do more and and wasn't so poorly at times. The mind is willing but the body is not.

  • Hello SnookieWookie

I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling with things at the moment. It sounds like it's a difficult time for you at the moment.

I've had a look through the forum and I can't see that you've posted here before using the same username or email details to register so I'm a little unsure about who you may have referred you for some additional support. Could it be another cancer forum that you've posted on previously? If you're a little unsure you can always use the Contact a Moderator form to chat with one of the team.

It's good to hear that you've made some positive changes to try and improve your diet and mobility. Hopefully, those things will help you to feel better over the coming weeks.

I do hope that things improve for you soon.

    Best wishes,

  • Hi alot of people on the forum find things very difficult and alot harder than normal when diagnosed, especially when treatment is doing things to the body as well (im only guessing your on treatment as you don't say).

    Hope things start improving.
