I'm sorry to read your post on here. What a journey you've been on. It is all very scary and although there are a lot of different treatment options out there, your's sounds similar to mine.
In a nutshell, I was diagnosed in October. Like you, I also had 6 lots of Chemo followed by a gap and then a bilateral mastectomy April 26th.My results showed a 1cm, triple negative residual cancer. I had some minor healing problems following surgery so there's been a bit of a delay but I've been told I have to start Chemotherapy again. I'm now due to start oral Capecitabine tablets on Friday. I'm also having Trastuzamab thigh jabs because I originally had a HER2 positive cancer which masked the triple negative one. I was totally unprepared for the triple negative diagnosis that came back in my Pathology results and I'm still trying to get my head around it.
Well you're nearly there radiotherapy is not so bad and most people end up on medication for 5 or 10 years to prevent recurrence. I'm 2 years on the meds and few side effects. You will have thrown everything at the cancer so well done
