I'm sorry to read your post on here. What a journey you've been on. It is all very scary and although there are a lot of different treatment options out there, your's sounds similar to mine.

In a nutshell, I was diagnosed in October. Like you, I also had 6 lots of Chemo followed by a gap and then a bilateral mastectomy April 26th.My results showed a 1cm, triple negative residual cancer. I had some minor healing problems following surgery so there's been a bit of a delay but I've been told I have to start Chemotherapy again. I'm now due to start oral Capecitabine tablets on Friday. I'm also having Trastuzamab thigh jabs because I originally had a HER2 positive cancer which masked the triple negative one. I was totally unprepared for the triple negative diagnosis that came back in my Pathology results and I'm still trying to get my head around it.

I have appointment Friday over radiotherapy 

then 19th September for when I start the oral chemotherapy 

it's all scary but I'll do whatever it takes to get it gone

Hi I have just been diagnosed and about to start my journey... 4 lots of EC every other week then then placitacial every week for 12 weeks then surgery then radiation. 43 mm tumor in Brest 28mm in lymph node

How did you get on with your Radio Therapy appointment on Friday? Have you started the treatment?

Good morning 

They are calling me tomorrow for appointment to do positioning etc and then hopefully start 8th aug for 3 weeks Monday to Friday 

I feel a lot better as he said they believe they got all the cancer and this is precautionary treatment as will the oral chemotherapy

I'm so glad they got all the cancer and that your RT and oral Chemo treatments are precautionary.

So you're having the positioning tattoos tomorrow. I hope it goes ok. 

I'm good thank you. I started the oral Chemo  tablets on Friday and so far so good.
