Low mood

Hi all well axillary lymph node clearance done on Monday stayed in hospital overnight. The drain fell out on Tuesday night but district nurse is calling g daily to keep an eye on it. Feeling very down today really sorry for myself. Has anyone else felt like this post op. Exercises are uncomfortable but I'm doing them. Just don't understand why I feel this low. Sorry guys for the self pity xxxx

    Poor you! We often refer to our cancer journey as a rollercoaster, as we experience the highs and lows along the way. The exercises can uncomfortable to start with, but please perservere with them, as this makes alhe difference in the long run. You will soon begin to feel better, especially when you get rid of your drain.

    You are entitled to some self-pity. You have been through a lot in a short time. Don't beat yourself up. We all have days like this, but things will get better.
