Hi,
Had breast cancer treatment for invasive lobular, oestrogen positive breast cancer about 2 years ago and have been on Anastrazole ever since. Seem to get a fair few side effects and still get body aches and pains and pins and needles in my hands and feet as I did from just before being diagnosed. Also exhausted all the time as before.
Is anyone on Anastrazole having the same type of thing. Also I know I can't/shouldn't replace the oestrogen but I wondered if anyone has any ideas for anything to take or do to alleviate the effects of lack of the oestrogen? I've heard that soy is a good substitute but also that it's not good for someone who had oestrogen positive cancer.
I live alone and worry quite alot with the aches and pains if the cancer is coming back and also if I am doing everything possible to get my body feeling as normal as it can.
Sometimes I'm unsure if the body pains are the medication, breast cancer treatment, going through second menapause after having to come off HRT or an age thing! :)
Any tips or advice greatly appreciated :)
