Welcome to the forum Fidelis although I'm sorry you're struggling with your diagnosis.
Some of our members have also been diagnosed with diverticular disease so hopefully you'll receive support and advice from them soon but in the meantime I hope this information I've found on the NHS website and the charity Guts UK! will help. Your GP should be able to advise on this as well.
