I am 70 years old and until just over a week ago I was an active walker, keen gardener and happy. Then I had a diverticular bleed and excuse the pun but the bottom dropped out of my world. Now everything revolves around eating the right food and drinking plenty of water. This pathetic body now shuffles along and two hour walks for my poor dog have become 15 to twenty minutes if I am lucky
