The genetic counsellor will talk through your family history with you and the screening tests that they may be able to offer you along with the possible outcomes of those tests and what they may mean for you. the important thing to remember is that you have a choice about moving forwards with having the testing and what choices you decide to make when the results are returned. Hello yes I have as it is in my family I was tested and I haven't got the gene I had cancer and it was just one of those things I was told,try not to worry I know it's difficult but just wait and see and who knows you might not have the gene either x
