First mammogram recall

Hey all. Had my first mammogram two weeks ago and had a letter today to go for further tests. Worried is an understatement. I did mention that 30 years ago I had a lump removed when I was 18 so I have a scar so the rational side of my brain is saying it's probably that and they don't have previous scans to compare it to but the other side of my brain is saying the worse! Just hate the waiting. Only have to wait till Wednesday

    A very warm welcome to our forum. A large number of people are recalled after their first mammogram, simply because they don't have previous scans to compare with. I am glad to hear that you don't have much longer to wait. None of us like the waiting period. This is always a stressful time. I do hope that you get good news when you return.
