Im waiting on breast biopsy results, i get them on monday, the waiting is just dreadful, sometimes your gut feeling tells you what you know but this time i just dont know! Anyone feel or felt the same?
A very warm welcome to our forum. I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer in the past 12 years, plus a few false alarms, so I have been through a number of biopsies. All I can say, is that the wait never gets any easier. Most of us would say that this is one of the worst parts of our cancer journey, as thereare so many unknowns and uncertainties.
I am glad to hear that you don't have much longer to wait. Try to keep yourself occupied with other distractions to help the time to pass a little quicker over the weekend.

Just a quick update from me, I had my first session of chemotherapy on Tuesday. It wasn't anywhere as bad as I ahead expected and whilst I am definitely not feeling my usual self, so far so good. I feel so much better to be actively fighting this now and better for getting through all those horrific waiting stages since 12/10.
For those with new diagnosis, you can get through this. Take one day, one step at a time.
What a brave woman you are, so glad your treatment isnt as bad as you thought it was going to be, chin up hunni you will beat this, think we will all be happy when this year is over.
I was putting clothes away in my son and girlfriends drawer today after hoovering and their golden retriever Bella who is just 7 months old who is petrified of the hoover got excited when i took the hoover down stairs jumped up and banged my boob omg the pain!!! I actually thought the wound was going to bleed, so its sore but its been sore for about 3 days now, sometines it gets quite swelled and really tender, i thought the pains meant to be getting better by now, i wouldnt like to have double Ds i dont think got to laugh or youd cry, oh the joys of dogs eh! And i couldn't give her a row bless!
I had Core Biopsies, even sat in the waiting room for them to be delayed, they said it was a backlog and I waited almost another week, but I then had to have a Stereotactic biopsy, again that was delayed because they wanted more testing done on the samples, I waited 3 more days it was awful both times.
I am fortunate that I don't have bc the tests confirmed a sclerosing lesion and benign adenoma.
I hope this in some way helps you, I've since heard this happens quite often, it is terribly traumatic to have to wait after you've prepared yourself.

Ha definitely lifting no scooters! Just about managing hugs on my good side! Oh I definitely will lovely. Out of all the waiting I've done over these last couple of months, this one seems the hardest. Trying to think positive xx
