Im waiting on breast biopsy results, i get them on monday, the waiting is just dreadful, sometimes your gut feeling tells you what you know but this time i just dont know! Anyone feel or felt the same?
I am sorry to hear about your experience today and hope that you feel a little better now that you've indulged yourself at home. I can see why you're confused, although it sounds good if nothing malignant has been found. Have you been told when you will get your results?
Thank you Jolamine for sharing that with me. It is definitely a masectomy for me. I await an apt with plastic surgeon next and then hopefully I will get a surgery date. They're still aiming for before Christmas and I'm holding onto that. I just want the cancers out now. Thank you for thinking of me. Mickey xx

it's all been such a whirlwind for me. I luckily had a Cancellation opp appointment so I was in very quickly, I think my dad was looking down on me.
I will feel better when I have full results on The 10th, so scary the Not knowing and not having a plan yet. My Cancer Nurse has been amazing she reels me in when I go to the Dark.
I get my results from my Stereotactic Vacuum biopsy on the 10th too, my journey is so complicated but waiting for results on an area of concern, no lump- an incidental finding was told various things from Cancer to radial scar to chalky distortion to benign, I'm quite fed up with it and the fear comes in crashing waves.
Wish you all the very best as can be with facing this, please let me know what happens and I think your dad will be surrounding and guiding you right now (my dad passed away when I was a teenager I feel he guides me through this)
It's not easy this journey I'm grateful we all found each other it's overwhelming how we hold each other together

If you are definitely having a mastectomy, I would advise you to look out a nightdress or pyjamas that open at the front. This is much easier than having to lift clothing over your head after surgery. Here's hoping that they do manage to fit you in before Christmas. I'm sure that you're just anxious to get it all over and done with now. Are you going to have reconstruction at the same time?
