Im waiting on breast biopsy results, i get them on monday, the waiting is just dreadful, sometimes your gut feeling tells you what you know but this time i just dont know! Anyone feel or felt the same?
I'm still waiting, keep willing the phone to ring!
I've called his secretary and the receptionist at the breast clinic, I'm fed up of the wait now- it's a new emotion at least, no tears just snapping at everything, I think I'll be breathing fire by tomorrow!!
The waiting is just dreadful, im doing ok well just now anyway pre assessment on Monday then the op 2 weeks later, just want it over now, hated this last couple of months xx
I had my follow up appt today and was told the tumour was 19mm grade 2. My lymph nodes were clear and there was a clear margin around the tumour. I'll be having radiotherapy and take letrozole for 10 years. This all sounds quite positive so I'm relieved. I still have some anxiety about it coming back but hope my fears will ease as living on your nerves is exhausting! Thanks for your replies and best wishes to everyone.
I am delighted to hear that your lympg nodes and margins are both clear. This must be a relief for you.
Radiotherapy and Letrozole are both a challenge, but are 'doable'. We all worry about recurrence but this is something that we have to learn to live with.
