Im waiting on breast biopsy results, i get them on monday, the waiting is just dreadful, sometimes your gut feeling tells you what you know but this time i just dont know! Anyone feel or felt the same?

I am delighted to hear that your results wee fine. Did the nurse say why they want to do more biopsies? They wouldn't have said that your previous biopsies were fine, unless they were, so it sounds as if they are being extra cautious and still wanting to investigate the changes they've founfd.

A very warm welcome to our forum.I am glad to hear that you are due to get your biopsy results back within a week. The 7 day turnaround shouldn't give any indication of the results. This was the normal turnaround pre-Covid and, hospitals are trying to get back to this, because, as you've discovered, it can be an agonising wait. Please don't worry about the clips. This is routne procedure to show the area investigated. It makes it easier for a surgeon to identify the right area if s/he needs to proceed with surgery.
I am so sorry to hear about your sister. It always does feel surreal at this stage, but try to hang on to the positivity. Only 1 person in every 8 who attend the breast clinic gets a cancer diagnosis, so the odds are still stacked in your favour.

Its a stereotactic biopsy they want to do this time, i still think its a small area that is still to be investigated for 100% clearance, this machine seems to be more accurate by the sounds of it, but feel the biopsies that were clear why do more? so i feel theres still something they are checking, i said to the nurse on the phone what do you actually think she saidvi really cant call it, so im thinking is there something small they have missed or not got the exact area? I am pleased yesterdays were fine though but i think its the thought going through it all again, yeahbit was so nicevto meet up with my mum had a look in tbe charity shops got a nice coat, nice lunch, the sun was shining and had such a nice day, a white feather has just dropped at my feet as im messaging you god strike me down xxx
