Our minds can run away with themselves , I think it's totally normal to feel all manner of ailments after finding a lump in the breast. The appointment will be here before you know it, try not to jump to worse case scenarios, fingers crossed all will be fine.....x

im going through the same but with an itchy scabby mole on my back. I've also been referred to be seen with in 2 weeks with a dermatologist. I've also been feeling achy etc. My anxiety up the roof! Think we all start feeling unwell and worried. Just a waiting game for us all x

Some of those symptoms may well be stress related rather than related to your breast lump. When my thyroid was being investigated, I started getting pain in my neck. The endocrinologist asked if I had pain in my neck and I said, "well, a bit but I think I am imagining it because it only started when I found out I'd need to see you." After the appointment, I got no more pain in it. And loss of sleep and appetite are stress/anxiety symptoms.

Hi completely understand how you are feeling. I am the same. Went to doctors two weeks with a lump in left breast. She found another one so I have 2. Got an urgent referral and seeing the Breat Clinic on Monday exactly 2 weeks after seeing GP. This has been the longest 2 weeks of my life. The lumps feel as though they have got bigger in 2 weeks and under my arm now feels tender.  I'm 64.

Oh I really feel for you. It's so terrible to cope with. I had freaked out completely this evening after holding in all day. It's helpfull to hear you feel the same. Feel like I'm crazy with worry. It's so upsetting for my wonderful partner. He's being so very kind.

I don't have my appt yet. Pry another long week at least.

Thank you for your reply and good wishes.  One day to go and I'm so nervous but at the same time wanting to know what's ahead if that's makes sense. I hope your feeling a bit calmer today as it's just awful feeling so anxious.

Hi a wee update. Had a mammogram, ultrasound then biopsy's.

Results showed suspicious areas which resemble breast cancer. Now I have to wait for results before deciding what treatment I require. I'm still in shock even though I have kind of known for past two weeks.

Hoping and praying this has been caught in time
