Husband terminal diagnosis and kids v young

Is anyone else in the same boat as me?

I'm really struggling today. In February this year, my husband (44) was diagnosed with lung cancer which is incurable. He's a non smoker with no family history of cancer and used to run marathons. Our children are just 6 and 3. There are so many things that are so devastating about this for me, it's hard to know where to start. I think I'm looking for other people in a similar situation as it feels so lonely at times

  • Hi I checked on your other post and noticed nobody told you that uncurable, isn't terminal there are still treatment options that can help slow and maybe stop cancer, even though it cannot get rid of it,.

Remember I'm a cancer patient not medically trained at all I was diagnosed Feb 2016 told uncurable prostate cancer gone to lymph nodes spine ribs pelvis and a lung. Two years ago told palative care, still going strong keeping positive, and a carer for my wife she has Alzheimer's and Parkinson's plus other brain problems. Doing housework and gardening.sometimes slow and have to keep stopping.

    Keep positive and keep fighting.
