I can imagine you felt relieved after you were seen at the breast clinic and it is rather unfortunate that this same pain came back again 4 days after your appointment. It's rather reassuring that your ultrasound did not show anything suspicious. But as the pain has now come back and wasn't there when you had your appointment at the breast clinic, it would be worth giving your GP a ring I think and explaining that this pain has now returned, that it subsided after you took the antibiotics but that it has now come back again. So don't hesitate to give them a call and I hope that they can get to the bottom of this. 

I hope that you will hear from others here who have experienced this before too and that they will be along shorly to share their story with you.

I'm in a very similar position to you and would be curious to know what happened to the pain and if you sought any more medical advice? 
 

I am 28 years old and have been experiencing a bruised sort of feeling on the lower inner quadrant of my right breast/rib for about three or four months now. I went to my GP in October as I was growing increasingly concerned. Unfortunately, my mother passed away from breast cancer seven years ago so there is obviously a close family link to the disease there.  At the doctors I was examined by two different women who said they didn't think they could feel anything too concerning but would refer me to the breast clinic anyway as I was so worried. Fast forward a month and I was at the breast clinic where I was examined again by a surgeon who said she also didn't think she could feel anything abnormal but would like me to have an ultrasound to confirm. On the ultrasound nothing but fibrous/dense breast tissue and prominent ribs showed up. Two weeks down the line and I can feel the bruised/tender feeling again and I'm feeling somewhat anxious. I'm convinced that there is a lump of some kind there as the right breast doesn't feel the same side as the left. At the clinic they only run the ultrasound over such a small area that I'm afraid they could have missed something important. 
 

I'm not one to go to the doctors/be paranoid about my health at all but for some reason I can't seem to let this go. I wouldn't have a these symptoms for no reason. I'd be very grateful to you if you could let me know how you're doing and what happened. I really hope you're doing well now.

It does sound like you're experiencing something very similar to what I had. Did you ever get prescribed antibiotics? The cyst I had at the time was extremely small but caused so much pain - the antibiotics were the only thing that began to relieve it for me. 
Although the pain did return after my breast clinic appointment, I'm going to be honest and say it ended up only lasting for a few days after I posted on this forum. I haven't experienced the pain since. 
 

It might be a good idea to seek a second opinion if you're still experiencing discomfort. I would be confident that it is isn't something sinister after your breast clinic appointment. The sonogragher that did my ultrasound said if the surgeons done feel anything suspicious during their initial examination that's a very good sign. I hope that offers you a bit of reassurance. 
 

I totally understand why your concerned, and you've every right to be with what happened to your mum. I'd maybe seek that second opinion even if it just gives you the peace of mind you need. 
 

I hope you get sorted with this soon, as it's a horrible thing to have on your mind.

I went to a go years ago with a stinging small pain in the breast.

It was ignored because they couldn't feel anything.

Ultrasounds today show nothing yet i have a 2cm+ breast tumor only detected via ct scan. 

And am stage 4.

Doctors waste your time.

Demand a ct scan ppl. 

Dont ignore the pain.

Hi, how did everyone in this thread get on? I have bruised feelings in both breasts, both in the lower inner quadrants of my breasts. Doctor did physical exam but not concerned. Just wondering how everyone got on, as those posts sound the most like what I have!

Hi Katy, I’m sorted now, my bruisy sensation on inner breast was something called Mondors disease, it developed into a phlebitis chord which ran to my nipple from inner chest wall.. still tender but nearly gone, 4 months later.
